Internet in a box
Internet in a box, built and tested before it reaches you.
Not every event needs an engineer standing in a field for three days. Some just need something that works when you plug it in. This is that, at a price that suits a smaller job.

Who it is for
The village show that cannot justify a build day.
Most of what we do involves surveying a site, building a network for it and standing on it for the duration. That is the right answer for a rally or a county show. It is overkill for a village fete, a small market or a one-day charity do, and the price reflects work those events do not need.
So this is the other option. We build the kit, configure it, test it, and send it to you ready to switch on. You do not need to understand any of it and there is nothing to set up.
What is in it
- An uplink. Starlink or 4G/5G, picked for your site when you book rather than left to chance. If your field has no sky and no signal we will tell you before you hire anything.
- Access points, already configured, already named, already tested with the uplink they are going out with.
- A network that is already built. Public and staff kept separate, fair use limits already set, so one person cannot flatten it for everyone.
- Cables, mounts and the bits people forget. Labelled, so it goes together in the order the labels say.
- A one-page sheet telling you what plugs into what, and a number to ring if it does something unexpected.
What it is not
It is not a managed deployment, and we would rather set that expectation here than in an email afterwards. There is no engineer on site, no hot-spare kit in a van twenty minutes away, and no one watching the network while your event runs.
If something fails on the Saturday, you have phone support and a spare where we have supplied one, not somebody arriving to fix it. For a lot of small events that trade is entirely sensible. For anything where connectivity failing would genuinely hurt, take the managed option instead and we will say so when you ask.
How big an event does it suit
Broadly, one area and one crowd. A single field, a hall, a market square. Once you have multiple zones a long way apart, several hundred people at once, or traders whose card payments absolutely must not drop, you have crossed into a job that wants surveying and building properly.
We would rather route you to the right one than take the booking for the wrong one and have it go badly.
Getting it and sending it back
Delivered, or collected from us in Hedon if you are nearby. It comes back the same way afterwards. Everything is PAT tested and asset tagged, and the paperwork is available for your site file.
